As a psychologist it’s my experience that even anticipated and welcome changes and transitions in the course of normal life and development can be stressful. It’s especially true if they bring up unresolved problems from the past. Profound and unexpected life events or traumas can radically alter our basic beliefs and expectations of ourselves and others.

Using an individualized approach informed by the best treatment practices available, I help people dealing with this continuum of experiences face these challenges. I work collaboratively with my patients to facilitate the learning of new skills, increased self-understanding, and reconnection with their own sources of strength and resilience.
